Atmosphere was excellent, quiet and very clean. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond. Salsa was AMAZING! We had chips salsa and queso, excellent but not pictured. My husband and I shared the Gigante, which is pictured.

We just found our new go-to spot for amazing Mexican food. I took my college-age son, and we were both blown away. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge—we ordered the Nachos Grande Jalisco and they came out heaping. He had the birria tacos, which were tender and full of flavor, and I ordered the chilaquiles, which were some of the best I’ve had. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and everything came out quickly. And best of all? It’s named after a city in the best Mexican state of all—Jalisco! ???????? Highly recommend!

My friends and I visited in early November on a Tuesday night. The place was packed by 6pm, with people waiting! The margarita (regular lime, on the rocks) was just okay - I probably would not order it again. The food, however, was phenomenal! I had chicken fajitas and they came out sizzling hot. The peppers and onions were done perfectly - the right balance between cooked and crunchy. Both of my friends also raved about their food choices, and loved the refried beans and rice on the side. We also commented on the leftover pig statue by the road - hoping they'd keep it as a memento of sorts from the South Street Smokehouse days! It's a great wayfinding item that nobody else has.

Both times we have been since they opened have been great experiences. Unfortunately they do not yet have their liquor license, but it should be any time. Great flavor salsa, cheese is cheesy, all our food has been fresh and quick! Servers were attentive and in control. Our new favorite Mexican place for sure!

We came here to visit Purdue University and stopped by after seeing the reviews. The food turned out to be really good. We ordered chicken tacos, grilled chicken, and the veggie plate. Both the quantity and quality of the dishes were excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Service was quick, which made the whole experience very pleasant.

Incredibly friendly and prompt service. El pastor tacos are the best in the city. Clean enjoyable environment. Still waiting on its liquor license, if that's important to you.
